"Just don't mention it" Estelle Maskame- review!

The author of the incredible DIMILY series, Estelle Maskame blessed us with a FOURTH part! It's like a gift from heaven after finishing the previous three books. "Just don't metion it" was published last year but unfortunately I was able to have it one year later. To be honest, I fpund out about the existence of it only couple months ago.

The fourth part of the DIMILY series doesn't tell a new story, this time writer gave voice to one of the main characters- Tyler Bruce. Events from the first part "Did I mention I love you?" are shown from Tyler's perspective. We get to know his thoughts, opinions and real motives of his behaviour, literally everything since Eden's arrival at his house in LA to the shocking end scene (not gonna spoil it though).

If you think it's gonna be boring, you couldn't be more wrong. First of all, who doesn't love the first part the most and wants to go through the story once again? Second of all, Estelle Maskame gave us a little surprise- the "present" action is interrupted with Tyler's childhood memoris about how he was a victim of violence from his father. While reading about it, we start to understand more why he behaved in such an agressive way. It helped me realise how situations like that can affect your future life. Also I think it's amazing how the writer pointed out such an important problem of domestic violence in a love story book for teenagers.

To sum up I'm just as much obsessed with "Just don't mention it" as with the three previous parts. Reading the same story from Tyler's point of view, makes the series even better! I eish Maskame would write two more books about Tyler. If you hadn't read it already, go do it now!
