5 steps to make your life better!
New year has started & with that, most of us start to reflect on our life. We think about things that make us happy or sad, what we have achieved so far & what's still left to accomplish. It's becoming also more & more popular to think about our health not only the physical but also mental. It's good to ask yourself if you're enjoying the life you live and what can you do to make it better. Well it's not that easy to answear this in on sentence. The level of happiness depends on many factors & to many people those are completely different.
For some money, fame or popularity make a good life but do they really? Maybe for some time but not for longer perspectives.
In this post I'd like to talk about factors which can make our life slightly better. They won't make us rich & famous but increase our mental health. Those five little steps have an impact on our happiness, self-confidence, motivation and effectiveness in work or school.
5 steps to make your life better:
➽ Get your body moving!
You've propably heard that move is good for your body like a million times but IT REALLY IS so I'm saying it one more time! Move, excercise, be active for at least 30 mins a day, it will make a difference in how you feel and work. You don't need to have a gym membership, you can work out at home, dance, walk {with a dog or even while shopping} or clean the house! It's also a great idea to switch driving for walking or riding a bike:)
➽ Organise your life!
What you only need is a planner! Writing down meetings, duties, important dates & just things to remember in a calendar will make you so much more organised, prepared & motivated for effective work! It's even more pleasant when you decorate your agenda with colorfull sharpies, stickers and memory cards. Well it works for me because I'm a planning freak but it's worth trying!
➽ Clean up your surrounding!
It's kind of connected to the tip above but tiding up your desk, wardrobe, house or room will make you feel so much moe organised and ready to achieve new goals. It's just to have a fresh start with clean space, isn't it?
➽ Write a diary
Writing down your feelings & emotions helps you relief your stress and clean up your mind. You can look at situations from different sides when they're on a paper. Also write things that make you happy & excited about because it makes you more positive & you can get a positive outlook on life!
➽ Live more present!
Limit the time you use electronic devices, like your phone, TV or laptop & focus on spending time with your friends, family or animal & think about yourself! The amount of spare time you'll get will surprise you! You can spend it on doing something productive, what you've always wanted to do or develop new hobbies & skills.
You will find the time to deepen relations with others, read books and simply relax! All you have to do is FOCUS ON WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW.
➽ Don't give up quickly!
I know it's easy to say but sticking to your goals and resolutions is the key to success {I feel like Khalid now}. Even if you fail once & break one rule, don't give up because it doesn't cross all your plans! Just agree with it and move on.
